Not long now, we hope you are looking forward to returning to Blackpool for a wonderful summer Staycation as the country starts to open back up and prepare for 'the new normal'.
We want you to sit back, relax and let us welcome you to Blackpool, calm in the knowledge that your accommodation provider is putting your safety and security at its core. We have therefore made a few changes to our apartments and the way we are operating to protect you and your famil. Now seemed like the ideal time to update you as to what we have been beavering away putting in place.
We have had to remove certain items like welcome books which will now be emailed to you prior to arrival, magazines, blankets, hair dryers have also been removed to assist our housekeeping team when they perform their deep cleans to ensure your safety. These can be requested in advance or by our new whatsapp messaging service or simply by giving our team a call and they will be delivered to your door. Our welcome tray of tea, coffee, sugar has also been replaced with individually wrapped items and you’re more than welcome to bring your own and other supplies.
All staff are required to wear PPE which we hope will reassure you that we are taking extra precautions to ensure safety, staff have been fully briefed on the changes as well as undertaking extra training.
All check ins will be contactless self check ins for the moment and you will have the details emailed over to you the morning of your arrival you will find your sanitised keys in a clean plastic zig bag inside the lockbox of your apartment, to ensure more safety check in times will be staggered as to avoid contact with any other guests and we are employing the 2 meter rule here at the Blackpool Resort Family within all our properties. We apologise in advance if this means you have to wait for any period of time before checking in and will do our utmost so that disruption is minimal. You will see a guest action button on our emails to you, allowing you to provide an arrival time, if you can do this it will help us organise better.
Here at the Blackpool Resort Family we enlist the help of a professional commercial laundry company to ensure your linens are boil washed, dried at high temperatures and steam pressed to the highest standard of cleanliness. All our items are separated and never mixed washed we have a system in place to ensure the correct item goes to the correct designated area to be washed. Our housekeepers use colour coded cloths that are allocated to different areas of the apartments and houses to minimalize spreading germs or cross contamination of areas, another tool our housekeepers are equipped with is a UV torch which helps us see those little details the naked eye doesn’t allowing us to eliminate them and fully ensure our standards of high quality cleanliness for your safety and ours.
Communal cleaning frequency has also been increased, hand washing posters and social distancing measures are also all in place. You will also see hand santisers at each entrance. We will also be allowing a gap in between guests to allow for the extra cleaning and santising neccessary.
As you can see our policy is fully comprehensive and we are putting every effort into making your holiday a relaity this summer.
